WENFENG PAGODA IN YANSI
Built in the 23rd year of Jiajing’ s reign (1545) in the Ming
Dynasty the seven-storeyd Wenfeng Pagoda is high enough for tourists
to enjoy distant views on. To the south sits the Fengshan Terrace, where
a statue of the Heavenly Master is worshipped. The Qiankou villa of
the Ming Dynasty is located 8km northwest of the Wenfeng Pagoda, and
Laowujiao (Ancient Residences) and the Lu Low (Green Pavilion) 5km to
